Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and what protections apply to therapy and to coaching. It covers this website and my practice, Dr. Joe D'Ambrosio.

Information I Collect

If you contact me through this website or by email, you may give me personal information such as your name, email address, and phone number, along with anything you choose to write in your message. Like most websites, this site may also collect basic technical information automatically, such as your browser type, device, and the pages you visit (see "Cookies and Analytics" below).

How i use and share it

I use the information you send me to respond to your inquiry and to schedule a consultation or services. I do not sell your information, and I do not use it for marketing without your permission. I may share it with the companies that help me run this website and my email and scheduling, and only so they can provide those services. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Tag Manager to manage analytics. These tools use cookies or similar technology to count visits and see which pages are used. This information does not identify you by name. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may work differently if you do.

Contact Form and Email

Please do not use the contact form or regular email to share private health details or anything urgent. Website forms and regular email are not fully secure, and I cannot guarantee they will be seen right away. Use them for scheduling and general questions. If you become a client, I will explain how to send private information securely.

Therapy Services

Information you share in therapy is protected health information (PHI). It is protected by federal and state privacy laws and by professional ethics rules. At your first visit, I give you a Notice of Privacy Practices and an informed consent form, which explain how your information is used, when I am required to share it (for example, to protect someone from serious harm or to report suspected abuse), and your rights to see and correct your record. Coaching Services

Coaching is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment, and it is not covered by HIPAA. I treat what you share in coaching as confidential. I will not disclose it without your permission, except as the law requires (for example, when reporting suspected child abuse) or to prevent serious harm to someone.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the information you send through this site. No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Keeping and Correcting Your Information

I keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and to run my practice. If you contact me and do not become a client, you can ask me to delete your inquiry at info@drjoedee.com. Records for clients are kept as described in my informed consent and Notice of Privacy Practices.

Who This Site Is For

This website is intended for adults 18 and older. I provide therapy only to clients who are physically located in New York or Kentucky. Coaching is available to adults elsewhere.
